Tips:
a. Connect one end of a printer cable (named Cable1, length: 5m) to a printer while the other end plug into the USB port of the Sharing Swicth, whose other end has two USB ports named PC1, PC2, which can be connected to the two PCs with two USB A to B printer cables (Cable2 & Cable3, length: 5m). |
b. Then PC1 and PC2 can share one printer. But now the total working cable length is Cable1+Cable2 (or Cable2+Cable3). Which means 10m!
c. It is well known that the transmission signal will become weaker and weaker as the cable becomes longer and longer.
d. So it is vital to choose printer cable with high quality.
e. Although the original printer cable works well when it connects one PC to the printer directly, we can not guarantee that two original printer cables plugged into Sharing Switch can still work.
